Little Rascals Film Club
Abe is a twelve-years-old, half-Israeli, half-Palestinian kid from Brooklyn driven by his passion for cooking, who has never eaten his dinner in peace. One side of the family insists on calling him “Abraham” (in Hebrew), the other “Ibrahim” (in Arabic), while his parents, agnostics, call him ”Abraham”, that is in English. What does the boy want to be called? Abe, just Abe. This is how he introduces himself when he escapes a dull summer cooking camp, and, after a series of adventures he assists a Brazilian chef “Chico”, who specializes in serving fusion cuisine. The lead role is played by Noah Schnapp known from the famous “Stranger Things”.
