Born in Łodź, Wojciech Marczewski is one of the most unique Polish filmmakers. The recurring theme of his films is the battle with enslavement: by a political system, the past or one’s own poor choices. We will discuss these topics during a masterclass, which will be proceeded by a special event: the ceremony of unveiling Wojciech Marczewski’s star on The Łódź Walk of Fame.
The conversation will be led by film critic and Transatlantyk Festival programmer, Ola Salwa.
