Adam Guziński

Polish film and theatre director, screenwriter, born in 1970. He graduated from the Faculty of Directing at the Film School in Łódź in 1999. In 1998, his school etude Jacob won the Grand Prix Cinéfondation award at the festival in Cannes. His next movie, Antichrist, 2002, has been shown at over 80 festivals, where it received numerous awards and honours. He won Grand Prix at the festival in Bilbao, which placed him among candidates for the Academy Award in the category of Best Documentary (Short Subject). His full-length feature film The Boy on the Galloping Horse, 2006, was first presented in Cannes in 2006 and later on travelled to over 60 festivals. Recently, he has pursued a couple of theatre and film spectacles, social adverts and TV series. Memories of Summer is his second feature film.
